FBA Blog

As many of you know, Dennis Colley will retire as Fibre Box Association’s (FBA) President/CEO on Friday (6/30) after almost 12 years of leading the association. Dennis has done an outstanding job. FBA and the corrugated industry are stronger because of his leadership.
Dennis has agreed to stay on until the end of the year to assist me and staff with the transition, which we greatly appreciate.
I have been passionate about the association since attending my first annual meeting in the spring of 1991. Over the years, I’ve been involved with FBA as CEO of a member company, as a member of FBA’s Board of Directors, and as the association’s Chairman in 2007. To now serve the industry as FBA’s new President/CEO is truly an honor.
I would like to thank FBA’s Nominating Committee and the Board of Directors for giving me this opportunity and to those of you who have expressed your support since the announcement was made.
I have been on the job for just two months, but I already know how much I am going to enjoy being part of the dedicated, talented, and experienced team at Fibre Box Association. I feel very fortunate to join an organization that has such a results-oriented and member-driven culture.
I look forward to your input on initiatives to make our association and industry stronger. Especially exciting is the Box to Nature (B2N) initiative to increase residential curbside recycling endorsed by the FBA Board during our meeting last week.
Best regards,
Bob McIlvaine
President/CEO
