FBA Announces Annual Meeting Keynote Speakers

Fibre Box Association (FBA) is pleased to announce the keynote speakers for its upcoming Annual Meeting to be held May 4 – 6, 2025, at the Ritz Carlton Vanderbilt Beach in Naples, Florida.

Laurent Sellier, Chief Executive Officer of Smurfit Westrock North America, will deliver the state of the corrugated industry presentation, a tradition of the FBA Annual Meeting.

In July 2024, the previously announced $11.2 billion merger of Smurfit Kappa Group and WestRock closed to create one of the world’s largest paper and packaging companies.

Laurent Sellier joined Smurfit Kappa in 1994 as an Internal Auditor and has since worked in several positions across the company in France, the UK, Spain, and the Netherlands. Before his current position leading North America, he was the chief operating officer of the Smurfit Kappa Europe Paper and Board Division.

Following Sellier, Leading Economist and Author Stephen Moore will offer FBA attendees insights on working with the 47^th U.S. President and his administration. Moore will share his thoughts on the outlook for manufacturers, including the potential impact of tariffs, changes in regulations, and tax policy, along with additional expectations from the Trump administration.

Moore serves as a senior fellow at The Heritage Foundation and is co-founder of The Committee to Unleash Prosperity. He is a frequent lecturer to audiences around the world on the U.S. economic and political outlook, and is the author of six books, including Trumponomics: Inside the America First Plan to Revive our Economy.

He is a graduate of the University of Illinois and holds a Master of Arts in Economics from George Mason University.

The event takes place after AICC – the Independent Packaging Association’s Spring Meeting in Bonita Springs, Florida, and allows attendees of both events to travel once and enjoy a weekend in the sun between events.
